Add Machine - Kitamura Anywhere remote for FactoryWiz Monitoring


Configure Kitamura Anywhere remote for FactoryWiz Monitoring


Note. This document does not apply to Junior control.


In FactoryWiz:


  1. Login as an Admin
  2. Navigate to CONFIGURATION > MACHINE
  3. ADD
  4. Input the name of the machine (make an EXACT note of this name)
  5. Set the machine type to Kitamura
  6. Save.
  7. Navigate to CONFIGURATION > LICENSING
  8. Increase the Kitamura license allocation accordingly and save.


15” Touchscreen method:


  1. Open Anywhere Remote (AR) application on the Kitamura control. This is found under CUSTOM > Option
  1. If you do not see this icon, open windows and search for Anywhere remote.
  1. If you do not see it, you will need to install it. You can email support.factorywiz.com and ask for the link to this download.
  2. If you do need to install you might need to disable the McAfee protection. Ask us for document KUSA-G47.
  1. Open AR 
  2. Click on MTConnect FactoryWiz and A-R TV Icon
  3. Enter the IP address of the FactoryWiz server and the name of the machine. This must match the name set in FactoryWiz exactly. You do not need a MTConnnect license or set anything or A-R TV
  4. Close and turn on the service by toggling the “Service Status” button.
  5. Now FactoryWiz should collect data from this machine.


For 10.1” screens:


  1. Open windows on the Kitamura control by going to the POS screen, press WIN button on keyboard (same as the windows button key, it is down near control and alt). Start menu will pop up.
  2. Look for Anywhere Remote (AR).
  1. If you do not see it, you will need to install it. You can email support.factorywiz.com and ask for the link to this download.
  1. Open AR 
  2. Click on MTConnect FactoryWiz and A-R TV Icon
  3. Enter the IP address of the FactoryWiz server and the name of the machine. This must match the name set in FactoryWiz exactly. You do not need a MTConnnect license or set anything or A-R TV.
  4. Close and turn on the service by toggling the “Service Status” button.
  5. Now FactoryWiz should collect data from this machine.
